What are SPC Hybrid Floors & What Makes Them Special?
In short, SPC stands for STONE-PLASTIC-COMPOSITE, also known as a hybrid floor, or SPC Hybrid Floor The floor is made of limestone that has been blended with PVC plastic, which results in a very strong, hard ridged, water-resistant floor, AquaWalk Hybrid Floors are made from high-quality virgin materials the process consists of a Limestone/ and a Plastic Polymer bonded onto the Limestone/Polymer, then onto this base we fix a high quality printed with a specific timber and colour, this is then sealed with several coats of Ceramic Aluminium Oxide, then finally coated with a hardener as a final top coat, this is what makes AquaWalk a high quality and tough floor, which gives the floor the durability and strength that is required to make a good quality high standard finished floor. The 2G click system is one of the strongest and best-locking floor systems available. SPC Hybrid Vinyl Floors are an ideal DIY product.
